Overview:
This 3-day safari takes you through three of Northern Tanzania’s most iconic wildlife destinations—Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. Begin your adventure in Tarangire National Park, known as the “elephant paradise” for its large herds, ancient baobabs, and rich wildlife. Continue to the Ngorongoro Crater, a breathtaking natural wonder that hosts some of the highest densities of predators and is home to all members of the Big Five. Conclude your journey in Lake Manyara National Park, a lush and scenic sanctuary famed for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and diverse landscapes fed by underground springs. This short yet immersive safari offers exceptional game viewing and a perfect snapshot of Tanzania’s remarkable natural beauty.
Day 1: Tarangire National Park.
After breakfast you will depart to Tarangire National Park for a Game drive with packed lunch. Tarangire is famous for the large number of elephants walking in groups, as well as Tarangire National park is known as elephant paradise. In the afternoon you will have lunch in the park at the designated picnic site then proceeding with game drive to late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Simba Lodge.
After breakfast depart with picnic lunch box, drive to Ngorongoro conservation area descend down the Ngorongoro crater featuring one of the highest concentrations of game and arguably the densest population of predators and carnivores in Africa like lion ,leopard cheetah and hyena. Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of African wildlife –inside a self-contained world teeming with animals. It’s considered to be the home of the big five such as Lion, Leopard, Black rhino, Elephant and Buffalo.
After full game drive dinner and overnight at Kankari Lodge.
Lake Manyara National Park, one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, to enter in the park you will be welcomed by tropical forest and baboons, the vegetations is green because of underground water from Ngorongoro Conservation, consisting of a shallow but huge soda lake which frequently host huge flock of Flamingoes, located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. Three quarter of the park is covered by this blue lake Manyara. It is also famous for its tree-climbing lion, late afternoon drive back to Arusha.
